Ahead of Tamil Nadu polls, BJP ropes in former IPS officer Annamalai Kuppusamy
A native of Tamil Nadu, Kuppusamy has spent 10 years in Karnataka. He resigned from the police service in 2019. Exactly a year after he quit, Annamalai had announced that he would be entering Tamil Nadu politics. Sources in the BJP told ET that the BJP intends to use him to strengthen the party's youth wing in all the five southern states.
